My name is Kate Slavin .... I am a lover of beautiful design, warm weather vacations, and products that make my life easier. I am also the proud creator of Do My Back! In 2005, after the break-up of a 2 year romance, I headed solo to Scottsdale, where I planned on clearing my head and healing my heart. I was sitting by the pool and realized that I didn't have anyone to "do my back". I wanted an even tan, and no nasty burns on my back...but what I didn't want, was a stranger's hands on my back. After my vacation and much shopping, I realized that a portable, chic, easy to use lotion applicator for your back and other tough to reach spots didn't exist. I also knew that the question .... “Can you do my back?"
I live in New York City and have a background in fashion and magazine publishing. I love using Do My Back either at home or away. With or without having someone around to "do my back"!
